Welcome to Trac for the Classroom Presenter for the XO Project!
This is the new bug tracking system for the Classroom Presenter for the XO project.
Anonymous (non-developer) users should now be able to create new tickets. There is some spam filtering now in place; keeping the number of links in your ticket to a minimum will help ensure that you get through the filters without issue. If you have a ticket that doesn't show up after you submit it, send a quick note to cpxo-dev at orderedpixels.com and we'll approve it.
Trac has its own built-in wiki; I'm not sure yet how that's going to work. For now, please continue using the main MediaWiki? set up for the project at http://xo.orderedpixels.com/wiki/. We should discuss what to do with the wiki at our next meeting. For the public user documentation and general information, it's probably best to continue using the main wiki.
For write access to Trac/Subversion, we ask that you contact us by e-mailing cpxo-dev at orderedpixels.com and indicate what you intend to contribute. It would be great if you could include a useful patch with your message! It doesn't have to be something major; you can pick a minor bug ticket and address it, or add some functionality of your own. This is simply to show us two things:
- that you have some idea what you're doing
- and that you're actually going to make useful contributions to the project.
Hopefully Trac will be a useful resource for us!
Starting Points
Trac provides a few resources that are helpful for getting started. You can also send e-mail to the cpxo-dev mailing list for help, though I'm pretty new to Trac as well and may not be able to answer all questions.
